SUMMARY:EVE TORODE PRESENTS ON HER MSC RESEARCH IN GUERNSEY
DESCRIPTION:In partial fulfilment of my MSc I set out to undertake the first ecological assessment of sea bed communities and food web dynamics in Guernsey waters. Using mono-Baited Remote Underwater Video systems (mono-BRUVs)\, I investigated how varying levels of fishing pressure affect community composition across sites with low\, moderate\, and high fishing intensity. The findings contribute to a foundational ecological baseline vital for sustainable fisheries management and marine conservation in the Channel Islands. \n  \n18th Nov Marine biology talk
