DESCRIPTION:Monday August 14st – visit to La Societe’s Grand Pre and La Marette reserves looking for insects\, migrating birds and other flora and fauna. Later in the evening a moth trap will be set and we will see what comes into the light\, as well as looking out for bats and barn owls. Bring a picnic and join us at La Marette at 6.30pm or come along at 7pm and join the sweep netting session. \nThese events are open to members of La Societe. DESCRIPTION:Monday June 19th – visit to La Societe’s Pre D’Enfer in Rue Des Bergers\, where we will be concentrating on insects as this is the beginning of National Insect week. We will be pond dipping and hoping to find Odenata nymphs and other water insects. Meet 6.30pm in the car park. Please be aware parking is very limited. \nThese events are open to members of La Societe.
