DESCRIPTION:Friday 10th May | 8:30pm – 9:30pm | Saumarez Park  \nJoin us for a bat walk around the park where we will use detectors to see what bats are flying over us! As we walk\, we will talk about what species of bat we have in the Bailiwick\, why they are important and how we can best protect them.  \nWe will meet in carpark by the children’s pirates playground. \nTo register interest in this event\, please contact Sarah at eca@societe.org.gg with children’s names so we can know numbers.  \nPlease wear sensible footwear and we look forward to seeing you there! \n

SUMMARY:Guided Bat Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Guided Bat walk on  Thursday April 4th\, at Sausmarez Park\, meeting by the Pirates Playground\, 19.00 start. \nOrganising walks this far ahead is difficult as we have no idea what the weather will be doing! If it is raining heavily or high winds\, we will be forced to cancel and/or re arrange. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates. \nPhotographs may be taken by section members at this event\, for use in future promotions\, we will ask for permission where possible. \nWe welcome donations which will be used to support the section in ongoing research. Suggested donation of £5 per family\, £2 per adult. We can accept both cash and card. \n \n

DESCRIPTION:Thursday 24th August \n\n\nMeeting at 8.15pm at the St Saviour’s reservoir\, at the Rue a L’or carpark \n\n\nWe will walk from the carpark across the top of the reservoir and to the outdoor classroom.  \n\n\nThe path is uneven\, and not really suitable for pushchairs. Children will need to be supervised. We recommend that you bring a torch. \n\n\n
