DESCRIPTION:📅 Sunday 27th April\, 08:00 – 10:00  \n📍Jerbourg car park \n\nWe will be running our first public dolphin (and cetacean) now the weather has finally started warming up.\n \nPlease feel free to drop in and help us watch out for any passing marine mammals followed by a cuppa and cake to warm up and chat. We have several pairs of binoculars available\, but cannot guarantee we have enough for everyone.\nPlease also be advised to wrap up appropriately for the weather conditions.\n

DESCRIPTION:Nature Guernsey – Rock Pool Ramble 🪸 & Eelgrass Survey 🌱\nSunday 27th April | 13:00 – 14:00\, Belle Greve Bay (meeting on the slipway at Salerie Corner).  \nJoin Nature Guernsey for a Rockpool Ramble on this low spring tide! We’ll be looking for all sorts of marine life such as crabs\, fish\, anemones\, squat lobsters\, starfish and hopefully lots more.  \nWe’ll also be undertaking an eelgrass survey in collaboration with The Bailiwick Eelgrass Exploration Project (BEEP) to have a look at the health of this seagrass bed.  \nNature Guernsey events are free and open to all. Donations are always welcome.  \nPlease note: we will be handling any creatures gently and ensuring we leave the rock pools exactly as we found them. °:•.🐠*.•🪸.•:° \n————— \n​​NATURE GUERNSEY\, part of La Société\, was set up in 2018 to organise events aimed at families. \nAs well as engaging existing members\, Nature Guernsey aims to introduce the organisation to non-members who may not be aware of the environmental work of La Société or the benefits of joining.
