Guernsey Astronomical Observatory Open Evening with two talks including one on Ancient Astronomers and Kepler’s Laws

The Guernsey Astronomical Observatory will be open from 8.00pm on Friday 11th September 2020.

During the Open Evening, there will be two talks. The first “Ancient Astronomers and Kepler’s Laws” will begin at 8pm followed by a talk titled “Are We Alone in the Universe?” beginning at 9pm.

Both talks are limited to 20 people on a first come first served basis.   If demand merits, the talks may be repeated later in the evening.

All visitors are welcome to visit on La Rue du Lorier, St Pierre du Bois.

Please park at La Houguette School.  From the school head up the road and follow the signs. Please take care on the road as it can be very dark.  A torch and high visibility clothing is recommended.

Donations are welcome to assist with the running and maintenance costs of the Astronomical Observatory.
