La Société Guernesiaise is pleased to have been awarded funding for a number of projects from the Strategy for Nature Fund.
The DolFin Project, in particular, has secured funding to purchase and operate new acoustic listening pods.
 
‘The funds are going to be used for a really exciting study of cetacean acoustics and also tagged tuna. This is something Jersey has been doing, and we have wanted to expand into our waters as part of a pan-island initiative.’ – Nicky Harris, Project Coordinator
