The Bat Box Scheme has now ended.

The scheme began following a generous donation from Islands Insurance. La Société Bat Section sought after suitable sites to mount bat boxes.

With this in mind, we invited La Société members to suggest sites on their own land where they would be willing to mount one or two bat boxes, perhaps on a tree, building or other structure. 

Thank you to everyone who took part in the scheme and helped our island bats.
